In order to avoid potential claims if a dairy intolerant consumer suffers an adverse reaction, the supermarket chain ASDA now has a label on its cartons of milk stating:
‘Allergen advice – contains milk’
This follows Cadbury’s labeling Cadbury’s Dairy Milk Chocolate with ‘contains milk’ (helloooo) in capital letters and the Happy Egg Company putting labels on its boxes of eggs stating: ‘contains eggs’.
