The Mayor, José Alberto Armijo, is proposing to ask the Junta de Andalucía and Málaga Provincial Council to sign a collaboration agreement for the construction of a Conference Centrel in Nerja.
The Mayor believes that a town the size of Nerja, and being an important tourist centre, needs such a facility. The Council already has several suitable sites in mind should the idea be taken up.
