Nerja, again voted one of the 10 most charming towns in Spain

This years Repsol Guide has selected Nerja once again in its top ten most charming Towns in Spain. The selection is based on visitors reviews to the area and many personal positive experiences. One quote from the Repsol guidebook states ‘just for the views from the Balcon de Europa, it’s well worth visiting this Malaga town. Where the beaches and coves will delight lovers of the sea. Apart from its sea-side, stroll the historic centre with narrow streets lined with whitewashed houses, it is a pleasure to behold. And if something makes this town unique is its famous caves, five minutes from the center with 2 kilometers of underground galleries are impressive.’
Although being such a popular holiday destination makes Nerja far from the sleepy fishing village it once was, Nerja is still full of character and charm. The old part of the town is still practically unchanged with its whitewashed houses, winding narrow streets. Nerja is a rare beauty that attracts families and couples alike. It’s not hard to see why Nerja will always be one of the most charming towns in Spain.
