The councillor for Infrastructure of Nerja, José María Rivas Galvez, has set in motion his commitment to ensure that all pavements in and around Nerja will be fully accessible to all locals, visitors and especially people with reduced mobility. Pavements with current obstacles, such as very high kerbs, will be improved and therefore be more easily accessible for wheelchairs, pushchairs and for heavy items being delivered to local businesses and homes.
Work is already under way to make these additional improvements in the area.
