Photographic Contest “Promoting Nerja”

^{This open contest has the purpose of replacing the photograph currently on file for the council of Tourism, with the winner’s piece of art.}

The competitors are advised that the theme for the exhibited photos must have the promotion of tourism in the municipality as a goal. Photographs will be selected, if they have captured this required theme in each of the images that corresponds to Nerja and its environment.
The categories in which ones can take part in the contest are: Nature reserve of the Sierras deTejeda, Alhama y Almijara, Beaches, Natural Landscape of Cliffs of Maro – Cerro Gordo, Maro, Barriada de las Protegidas, Rincones de Nerja Pesquera, Historical – Cultural Heritage of Nerja and the Balcon de Europa and its surroundings.
Entry in to the contest is open to all ages, old and young, amateurs or professionals, and must be owners of the presented images and possess the rights to use them, without any restriction whatsoever from any agency or company
Requirements are set to a maximum of 2 photos for the same category, and individuals are allowed to take part in all the categories that he or she wishes.Photographs must have been taken this year.
Images can be sent in for the competition until the deadline of December 12, to the Municipal Office of Tourism Nerja, located in C / Carmen nº1.The award for each of the categories will be 150 euros, and there is no limit to how many categories and individual can win.
