TV crew chooses the best locations to film its documentary in Nerja

The four corners of Nerja’s region, its cultural and natural setting, historic and gastronomic delights will be the star highlight of an upcoming popular Spanish television channel called Canal Sur Television.

The Andalusian television crew were seen recording the documentary which is to be aired shortly, although there is still no confirmed date of broadcast.

Some of the specific areas of interest captured were the Nerja caves and the Sierra Almijara Natural Park, featuring the ideal guide Miguel Young “Tito” from the popular 80’s series Verano Azul. In addition, the crew were also spotted filming water sports on Burriana beach and have been interviewing personnel of the Health Centre regarding fitness & healthy habits.

Health professionals involved have shown their gratitude for the treatment and help provided by all of the companies and individuals that have made the recording of the documentary possible, painting an unforgettable image of Nerja and its tourist and cultural charms.

Nerja has often been chosen as a ‘film set’ for television companies and film crews and its unspoilt natural scenery will no doubt continue to prove to be a popular backdrop for many more years to come.
