Kirk MacDonald is a Canadian jazz musician and composer. He has been nominated for four Juno Awards, with his album The Atlantic Sessions winning the 1999 Juno Award for Best Mainstream Jazz Album.
Currently, MacDonald is one of the most sought-after saxophonists on the international jazz scene. He has collaborated with musicians such as Tom Harrell and Harold Mabern and next Friday, June 15 will be in Malaga at LA NAVE.
The concert will feature a collection of Jazz classics and original themes composed for the saxophone.
The concert is being touted as an outstanding musical event for the Malaga jazz scene.
