Southern Spain to witness spectacular meteor shower

This year’s Perseid meteor shower reaches it’s peak viewing time between August 12th and 13th when the moon is absent from the night sky.

To see the spectacle at its best, either stay up late or get up just before dawn when you can to see an expected 100 meteorites falling per hour.

The meteor show can be viewed all across the northern hemisphere but will be especially good in southern Spain.

To see the spectacle at its best, get away from light pollution by heading to open spaces and look up to the northeast sky.

In and around Nerja, head to the beach for optimum viewing.
