The Norvege Hot Club are innovators in the rebirth of France’s jazz hero, guitarist Django Reinhardt’s music. Established in their home country of Norway, the Norvege Hot Club’s first performance was at the Molde Jazz Festival in 1979.
They maintain their own unique sound, while continually seeking an expression of contemporary gipsy jazz.
They also enjoy a great following for the diversity and virtuosity of their music and as for their humour, to call it surreal would be an understatement.
