Bar Alameda
Calle Jaén
29780 Nerja

Alameda Alameda, Nerja

This is a cosy little bar attracting an international clientelle and serving some very nice tapas. It changed hands in 2010 but although there have been a few minor changes, the tapas are still good, although different from before, and good value for money. A beer and a tapa will set you back €1.30 (August 2011).

Delighted to hear it’s open again. Is it under new management?

Sadly the lovely old guy (his name escapes me) who used to run it, retired and so there is a change of ownership. More expensive and not nearly so good and welcoming. No patatas bravas or a lo pobre. Didn’t see tortilla last time. Don’t think I’ll be going again.

Not closed, we were not in Nerja last year so missed a year maybe it was being refurbished. Went there this year and it has ALL changed, (smoking outside does NOT HELP AT ALL FOR ABIANCE !!) anyway, a couple from jerez have taken it over so no tortilla, still the best malaga wine !!! Been following these tapas runs for years, we do not go to restaurants, so was really dissapointed this year

I have lived in Nerja for several years and there are very few tapas bars that i have not tried.

In my opinon this bar is in the top two or three. My favoutie tapas here are ” Rabo de buey” (perfectly cooked)and “manitas de cerdo”

    Well worth a visit..
