Centrally located, the balcony overlooks Calahonda beach and the Balcón de Europa. Worth a visit just for the views from the balcony, although the tapas are also very good.
A beer and a tapa will cost you €1.40 (September 2011).
This is my favourite cafe bar in Nerja and I have been here for many a year. it has possibly one of the best sea views and the balcon from its terrace and where the food is concerned, the calabella salad is a must. I have worked my way through the menu and have never been disappointed.
If you want a nice meal, Bar Snack or just to begin your nerja tapas trail adventure then I cannot think of a more suitable place to begin. The owners Paco and Miguel along with their dedicated staff offer a friendly unhurried service, where after a sun baked day you can just sit and stare at the sea view with friends while enjoying the food and drink on offer. I have nothing but praise for this cafe and will be spending many an hour eating and drinking here during my summer holidaay in 2011.
