Esquina Paulina is located on calle Cristo, Post Office street, and is run by a Dutch couple, Luc and Paulina.
There is a small terrace outside. Always a warm welcome from Luc and Paulina and the bar has a great atmosphere.
In addition to the more traditional tapas, you can savour such Dutch delights as raw herring.
The bar opens at 19:00 each evening except Sunday, a well-deserved day of rest!

What a wonderful bar! It’s in an ideal location for the centre of Nerja, and for watching the world go by. There’s always a fantastic atmosphere; the sangria especially goes down well. The only problem is, once we arrive for ‘a quick drink’ we never seem to leave! I can’t recommend it enough, and can’t wait to visit again later this year.

I have been a patron of this bar for several years and can say it offers the most fantastic pre dinner wines in nerja. The owners are very welcoming and offer an excelent range of tapas, snacks and cheese platters to suit all tastes. There is a small outdoor seating area right on the street where you can people watch after a sun filled day and cool down over a chilled vino with friends.
I have nothing but praise for this rustic charming bar and will be back for my fix in summer 2011.when in Nerja, you must visit and sample its delights yourself.

I Have just come back from Nerja June/July 2011 and can say that I spent many hours having a drink at one of the best Bars in nerja, while enjoying the local attractions..
speaking of local attractions,paulinas now support the tourism trade by allowing the local basket weaver to ply his trade to the passing tourist opposite their seating area. I was treated to a master class of weaving by a local treasure where he weaved a basket in front of my eyes. I was so captivated by the event I bought the basket from him. He wanted 5 euros, I gave him 10, and the basket now sits in my kitchen in the UK full of lemons.

We gaan in oktober voor de derde keer naar Nerja, kan niet wachten! Ik ben er zeker van dat we weer veel tijd doorbrengen bij Esquina Paulina onder het genot van een heerlijke (witte) sangria of een Belgisch biertje. Geweldige Spaanse sfeer met Spaanse muziek en lekkere kaasjes en de canapeetjes zijn ook een echte aanrader!

Moin Ihr da draußen!
Nach ewigem Bedenken, bin ich zur Einrichtung eines Werkraums gelangt.
Nun möchte ich diese Anschaffung nicht mehr missen & empfehle aus diesem Grund
allen das auch zu tun. Jedes Zimmer ist dadurch aufgeräumter geworden und jedes Werkzeug hat sein Plätzchen. Schraubenzieher und andere Werkzeuge entdeckt man schlussendlich nicht mehr an den unmöglichsten Orten. Ungeachtet alledem
habe ich persönlich dabei auch erheblich mehr Freude am Basteln erlangt:
ich brauche nicht länger eine Ewigkeit um mein Zeug aufzutreiben und fühle mich beim
Arbeiten pudelwohl.
Zurzeit würde ich gerne auch noch eine Werkzeugwand selber
bauen. Hat jemand dazu Tipps?
