The Sevillano restaurant is located in calle Gloria, a small street connecting calle Cristo with calle Pintada.

The restaurant has always been highly commended for both food and service.

    This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Nerja. Ok, we’re biased, as in the 6 years we’ve been visiting we’ve always been impressed. We’re just back from a quick week’s break ans still had time to make 2 visits to Sevillano. The food is always very good and the service second to none. The menu has been added to since we were there in June and unfortunately it has just created more of a headache in choosing what to eat. They serve the best swordfish in orange sauce in town, and the best oxtail ever! Be adventurous here and go for the more Spanish style dishes, they won’t disappoint. And the steaks … Chef has it spot on every time. He’s one of the best. If you visit go up on the terrace … and say “Hi” to Anna for us!!

  2. Horrible food! I can´t imagine why anyone would recommend this restaurant. I had sole with champagnesauce…the fish was overcooked and dry, and the sauce had been nowhere in contact with champagne, it was all just milk och wheat flour. Really bad. My partner had lengoustines in “whiskysauce” – again it was milk and wheat flour, just with some brown colouring. Everything completely tasteless. How anyone can work in this kind of restaurant with yet some dignity is beyond me. The service wasn´t good either. Honestly, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life.

  3. Been here a few times. Food is mediocre at best. Staff miserable but the young waitress was pleasant.

    Previous reviewer must have been unfortunate. I have been very many times over at least the last ten years. In fact no visit to Nerja is complete without a visit here. The quantity and quality of food, with a genuine Spanish content and flavour has always been excellent and at a good price. A criticism is that sometimes I have had to ask for the special menu which gives particularly good value for money. I have always found the staff to be friendly and efficient. Joaquin, the owner, is very much hands-on
