Sloans Restaurant, run by Sam and Gitta, is on calle Los Huertos, not far from the Parador.
Good quality food, varied menu and reasonable prices are the cornerstone of this establishment.
The menus change regularly and Sam is always coming up with new ideas for his ‘Chef’s Specials’. And there is always the ‘All Day Sunday Roast’ with a wide choice available.
Sloans is also available for weddings, anniversaries etc.
Well recommended for Sunday Lunch, great portions and beautifully cooked

Went for a Sunday Lunch, not impressed.
Last Sunday of August around 8pm. The place was half full, 2 waitresses working very hard, but over stretched. They were doing everything, including the bar and the bills.
Offered a drink when we sat down, which came quite promptly, then waited 20 minutes to place food order.
There is no air conditioning and the ceiling is very high which makes the fans totally ineffectual, it was very hot and when the food arrived, we asked for more soft drinks and water, because the first ones had long since been consumed. They never came.
The Sunday roast was nothing special, I`ve had better in Nerja and paid less.
Won`t be rushing back
If your looking for Sunday Lunch cooked as if its back in the UK this is the place to go. Be prepared to book most Sundays as it can be very busy. The staff including the owner Sam, are all very nice people. We have been dinning here for some 18months and have never received a bad meal or service. There are also different dining evenings on offer during the month and well worth a visit. Good honest food at good prices. If your on holidays in Nerja please do try Sunday Lunch here..
