Restaurante Playa Torrecilla is at the end of Torrecilla beach, almost by Plaza Fabrica de los Cangrejos. Always popular, a good sign, and a great place for meals or just a drink.

The best beach cafe/restaurant in Nerja. Fun – people watching here is almost cabaret. Lively – the good natured hubbub when Spanish beachgoers lunch here is almost music. Good value food, well prepared, and with half racion options so that friends and family can share without emptying their pockets. Goes like a fair sometimes, but the scurrying waiting staff seem to keep up with it (most of the time) while keeping smiles on their faces. They also have good memories for regular visitors, even from year to year, and welcome you back like old friends. The covered restaurant area is a haven from the heat or chill, there a few tables deeper inside with a loud TV for sporting spectacles, and there is a long line on shaded tables on the adjoining promenade which are a delight in the afternoon breeze and to watch the world and beach life go by while listening the waves on the shore. We have never felt rushed over our coffee and brandy here. We also like it about 1000 on a Sunday morning when there are few people around and we can sit at a promenade table, reading, enjoying breakfast and watching the early rituals of beach life before the crowds arrive.
