Fly spray for horses

Flies can be a bit of a bother in the summer so here’s a recipe for a fly spray. Several people gave me this recipe within a short period so it must be worth trying out.

• 1 small bottle citronella oil
• 1 egg cup of methylated spirits
• 1 egg cup of vinegar
• 1 cup of cold tea
• 1 squirt of washing up liquid

Shove it all in a one litre bottle, fill up with water and shake well. Apparently it works a treat.
