Best Paella: Chiringuito ‘El Breine’ on El Playazo beach.
Best spit-roast chicken: Pollos Asados at the bottom of avenida Castilla Perez. It’s the sauce that does it!
Best Sangría: Esquina Paulina, calle Cristo.
Best English Breakfast: The Speakeasy on calle Málaga.
Best Bread (overall): La Tahona on calle el Barrio followed very closely by Supersol.
Best Steak: Meson de Antonio, calle Diputación.
Best place for local wines: Los Bilbainos, Calle Alejandro Bueno 8.
Best Chinese take-away: The Dragon Inn, just off prol. Antonio Millón.
