Plaza Cavana

Plaza Cavana is a lovely square in the centre of town just behind the El Salvador church and is a great place just to sit out on the café terraces and relax.

There are several bars and restaurants in the square, most with terraces, a few shops, several banks and ATM's and an hotel.

Bar Cavana does very nice tapas, as does restaurant Casa Luque on the opposite side of the square.

The Banco de Andalucía, at the top end of the square, is one of the places where Moneygrams can be received or sent.

Plaza Cavana is also the starting point for the Tourist Train, or 'Wally Trolley' as it is affectionately known locally. Great way to get around, in fact, because you can interrupt your journey along the way and make your return at a later stage.
