Another fatal industrial accident in Almería
A 58 year old workman died yesterday following a fall from the third floor of a building. It is the second industrial fatality in Almería within twenty-four hours.
This latest accident happened at around 17:00. The man was working on the third floor when, for reasons as yet unknown, he fell, hitting his head on the scaffolding. He was taken to Torrecárdenas hospital but died later that evening at around 21:30.
There have been eleven industrial fatalities in Almería province so far this year and both the UGT and CCOO Trades Unions are demanding action on safety in the workplace.
