A fire originating in a camper van in the car park next to the wholesale market in Vélez-Málaga resulted in the destruction of the vehicle and two cars parked nearby.
The fire, whose causes are unknown, originated inside the camper van and caused an explosion which spread the fire to neighbouring vehicles. No-one was injured in the incident.
The fire produced a thick, black smoke which could be seen as far as Torre del Mar.
