Real Madrid have completed the signing of 23-year-old Colombian forward James Rodriguez, winner of the Golden Boot for his six goals at the 2014 World Cup.
Rodriguez, who was tempted away from Monaco, has signed a six year deal, becoming the fourth most expensive player of all time after team-mates Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona’s Luis Suarez.
Rodriguez’s signing comes less than a week after they signed German World Cup winner Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich.
