TV hurled from balcony following domestic dispute

A former US marine, a resident of Nerja, hurled a fifty inch plasma TV at Guardia Civil officers when they arrived to investigate reports of a violent domestic disturbance on Sunday.

Neighbours reported hearing a heated argument, screams and blows at a home in central Nerja and Guardia Civil officers went to investigate. The alleged aggressor, 33-year-old B:R:L. saw the officers and hurled the TV from his second floor balcony.

The officers managed to avoid a direct hit but one suffered bruising and is now off work.

The aggressor, apparently a former marine from Maryland, had been arguing with his wife who is pregnant with twins. After appearing before a judge in Torrox, the alleged aggressor was issued with a restraining order.
