Málaga Council is providing €454,000 for the pedestrianisation of calle del Mar in Torre del Mar, a project which started in September and, according to the Council, will be completed by Christmas.
The project includes making the road and paved areas one level, landscaping, LED lighting in the ground, replacement of lighting and street furniture and the construction of a circular ornamental fountain at the junction with calle Saladero Viejo.
According to the Council, this project is one of the most demanded by local businesses and residents.
