The body of a man of North African origin, aged around 35 years, was found in a water deposit on Saturday in the municipality of Nijar, Almeria.
At around 20:35 on Saturday, the Emergency Services received a call from a local resident who said they heard cries from the water deposit.
The body was found at the bottom of the deposit which is located at the side of Cortijo del Humo in Venta del Pobre, Nijar.
It is thought that the man could have been working in the area when he fell in and was unable to get out.
