The mayor of Torrox, Francisco Muñoz (PSOE), has signed a resolution ordering the dismantling of a mobile telephone antenna in the Cortijo el Registrador in the Generación del 27 district of the town.
This follows more than a decade of complaints by residents in the area. The Council revoked the licence for the antenna in December 2013 and it will now be dismantled between January 27th and February 11th 2015. This will be carried out by the municipal services or a contracted company with the Local Police in attendance.
