International Art Symposium LUZ, Cómpeta, 25 April – 3 May 2015

logo LUZThe International Art Symposium brings people together. For a short period of time artists from all over the world gather to exchange information, techniques and ideas related to their profession. These artists, painters and sculptors from different backgrounds will inspire each other and will be able to see their colleagues at work.

The event will broaden horizons. It helps improve the understanding of other cultures, countries and art. The symposium is a public event using local spaces in Cómpeta and surroundings where locals, art-lovers and visitors can meet the artists and experience how they create their own particular style, with spontaneity, originality and creativity. The 14 invited artists, painters in different media and sculptors, will get inspired by the Spanish culture, environment and the beautiful nature of Andalusia. Participants, from many different countries are working professionally and exhibiting worldwide. Have a look at their c.v.’s and you’ll be impressed. Looking for a good quality artwork? The art is for sale during the exhibition 2/5 and 3/5. And during May in the Gallery Luz de la vida.

Sat 25/4 at 12 p.m.: Welcome ceremony, artists will give a presentation at Salon de Actos (Town hall exhibition room)

Mon 27/4 – Fri 1/5, 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.: Meet the artists at work

Tue 28/4 and Thu 30/4, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Meet the artists at work

Sat 2/5 at 12 p.m.: Inauguration ceremony, Exhibition of the Artworks made during the International Art Symposium LUZ and giving the certificates to the artists, S

alon de Actos. And from 1pm on also in Gallery Luz de la Vida.

Sat 2/5 – Sun 3/5 at 12 p.m. – 3p.m.: Sales Exhibition of the artworks in Town hall and Gallery
