Torrecilla beach has become the first to benefit from improvements as the main holiday month approaches.
There are new concrete walkways to the beach area and to the new shower units, both conventional and foot showers, which have now been grouped together, apparently for reasons relating to hygiene.
Work is under way on El Chucho beach and El Salon will follow after that.

Most disappointed that these works are being carried out in the high season AND at night. Totally spoilt ours and many others stay in Nerja..we love Nerja and own our own property on Torrecella. How sad to hear from so many first time visitors that they will not return as a result of overnight disruption to tem and there children…..Dissapointed no consideration or thought went into this!
