Álvaro Fernández from the Club Nerja de Atletismo-Cueva de Nerja-UMA and María Bravo (Atletismo Málaga) were the winners of the XXIII Media Legua Playa on Burriana beach on Thursday evening.
In the male category, Ouassim Ournaiz (Spanish 3,000 metres champion) and Daniel García were second and third respectively.
In the female category, Paula Ramírez, (Club Nerja de Atletismo) was second and Belén Infante (Guadalhorce-Álora) was third.
