The annual Carrera Urbana (Street Race), part of the Maro Feria celebrations, takes place on Friday September 4th 2015.
There will be prizes for the first three in each of the many categories and the racing begins at 19:00. Registration for the races begins from 18:00 on the same day.
The races start from the plaza de la Iglesia with the youngsters setting off at 19:00 to cover a distance of 400 metres. There are then further starts at 19:10 (800 metres), 19:20 (1600 metres) and finally the main race at 19:30 (2400 metres).
The race forms part of the Maro Feria celebrations in honour of the patron saint of the village, Nuestra Señora de las Maravillas.
