Today is the Day of the Tourist, with the action starting at 17:30 with the Nerja Municipal Band being awarded the honour of being this years ‘Tourism Ambassadors’.
The ceremony will take place in the Town Hall chambers.
Starting at 19:00, the Zurrapa’s Band will be providing the entertainment on the Paseo Balcón de Europa and there will be the opportunity to taste the odd drop of wine.
At around 21:00, a plaque will be awarded to the Parador de Turismo hotel to commemorate its 50th anniversary and this will be followed by a concert by the Nerja Municipal Band. A firework display will be the finale to the event.
