Today, Saturday, is the XIX Open Chess Tournament which is taking place in the Enrique López Cuenca Sports Centre from 16:30.
The tournament is part of the provincial circuit and has attracted players from all over Málaga province as well as some from Granada.
There are seven rounds involved and the overall winner will receive a prize of €150. There will also be trophies for the winners in the junior categories.
