The Feria de San Miguel in Vélez-Málaga is at an end and, despite the rains, it was deemed a great success.
As far as any incidents are concerned, 31 minors were stopped for the possession of alcohol, 10 for the consumption of narcotics on the streets, 19 stalls were done for not having the necessary documentation and permits and there were 5 minor scuffles or fights.
Although around 70% of the Local Police force were involved in security duties for the feria, most of the interventions were carried out by members of the Administrative Police, a non-uniformed section.
