Saturday December 6th (Dia de la Constitución) and Monday December 8th are both public holidays this year and a great number of places will be closed. Anyone thinking of popping down to the El Ingenio centre in Vález-Málaga to a bit of Christmas shopping, forget it, the centre will be closed on both days. It will however be open on Sunday December 7th from 10:00 and will continue to be open each Sunday until the first week of January.
The market traders have had their meeting with the Town Hall concerning their suggestion to use the Parque Verano Azul as a site for the weekly market and are now awaiting a ‘technical report’ on the viability of their proposal.
