The body of a one month old baby girl was found on Málaga’s Huelin beach on Sunday morning.
A passer-by called the police after discovering the body at around 09:20 on Sunday morning.
The sea was calm, and the police are assuming that the body was not washed ashore from another place but was deposited on the beach the same morning.
An autopsy is being carried out to determine the exact cause of death and the National Police has begun an investigation into the case.
