The French Navy is involved in the search for a missing Spanish fisherman in the Bay of Biscay.
The fishing boat Lasti, registered in Vigo, was about 100 kilometres off Gironde on the French coast when they noticed that one of the 12 crew members on board was missing.
The missing sailor, aged 56 years, was apparently last seen at around midnight on Saturday but his disappearance was not noticed until 05:00 on Sunday morning. Aircraft and helicopters have been helping in the search.
