A man in Quesada, Jaén, became fed up after receiving numerous fines for various motoring offences which he had not committed and made a complaint to the Guardia Civil.
An investigation ended up with the arrest of a 41 year old lorry driver in Chauchina, Granada, on charges of identity theft and falsifying public documents. The detainee, who turned out to be a friend of the complainant, had a prior record for similar offences and had even served a jail sentence.
