The Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan police) are investigating a possible double murder after the discovery of two dismembered bodies at a house in an urbanisation in Abrera.
The investigators are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the time and exact cause of death.
A relative, unable to contact the couple, went round to the house yesterday afternoon to check that everything was alright. Upon arrival he found the dismembered bodies of the couple, a 30 year old Spanish man and a 26 year old Chinese woman.
Police are trying to establish a motive for the killings and at the moment, all options are being considered.
