A 33 year old Spanish man, a resident of Estepona, is in the Hospital Costa del Sol in Marbella after being shot in the leg and the groin.
The incident occurred at 15:15 in avenida Juan Carlos I in the San Isidro Labrador district of Estepona. The victim was in a cafe with another man when two other individuals came over to join them. All the men apparently knew one another and a short while later, they all left and got into a car.
En route to their destination, believed to be a hotel, victim was shot in the knee. The car stopped and the man got out, but was then shot a second time, this time just below the groin.
Four people are currently being held for questioning in Estepona.
