A 33 year old man needed hospital treatment for smoke inhalation after being trapped in his home in Rincón de la Victoria after fire broke out in the building.
The fire began at 05.20 in a building containing sixteen apartments in calle Pleamar, La Cala del Moral. The man remained trapped in his home until he was rescued by firefighters.
He was taken to the Hospital Carlos Haya in Málaga for treatment.
