Flags on municipal buildings in Nerja, as is also the case in the rest of the Axarquia, are being flown at half-mast today in memory of Manuel José García Caparrós, a youth who was shot by security forces in Málaga on December 4th 1977 during the declaration of Andalucian autonomy.
There is no official Constitution Day ceremony being held in Nerja due to the roadworks in calle Carmen.
