A woman is in a serious condition in hospital in the Hospital Insular in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, after being stabbed, allegedly by her partner.
The woman was stabbed yesterday afternoon at her home in Santa Lucía, Tirajana, and was rushed to hospital where she underwent emergency surgery. Her condition is described as very serious although not life-threatening.
The woman’s partner has been arrested in connection with the stabbing.
