During the past two years of the economic crisis, around 10,300 businesses have ceased trading in the region of Andalucia with 4,100 (39.8%) of these being in Málaga province.
Second in the list is Sevilla with 1,900 businesses going under and Almeria in third place with 995 failures.
The least number of businesses falling by the wayside has been in Huelva with a total of 453 during 2009 and 2010.
