A 29 year old Moroccan man detained on Saturday night as the alleged killer of his girlfriend in Porzuna, Ciudad Real, had already been denounced for violent abuse.
The victim, a mother of four children, reported 29 year old E.M.K. on November 27th but during the speedy trial, the judge did not impose any fine, restraining order or other measure against him. The lawyer for the victim had appealed this situation.
The incident occurred on Saturday night following an argument, E.M.K. stabbing his 24 year old girlfriend with whom he has two children. The woman managed to call the Emergency Services and was rushed to hospital for surgery. Unfortunately, however, she died in the early hours of Sunday morning.
According to neighbours, arguments between the couple had been increasing and threats by E.M.K. against his girlfriend were almost a daily occurrence.
