Rincón de la Victoria Council has awarded the contract for the renovation of the Camino Viejo de Vélez, a project budgeted at €1,461,600.
The works involve resurfacing, paving, renewing infrastructure and installing energy saving lighting, the work to be carried out by Probisa.
The project is being divided into five sections:
- Avenida de la Candelaria to arroyo Pajaritos
- Arroyo Granadillas to the Guardia Civil barracks
- From the Guardia Civil barracks to arroyo Benagalbón
- Calle Aura to Estrella Polar and Carril del Cortijo Blanco
- Camino Viejo de Vélez up to urbanisation Los Catalanes.
The completion period has been set at 108 days.
