The body of male aged between 50 years and 55 years was found yesterday in the rio Guadalquivir near the Barqueta brodge in Sevilla.
The body was discovered just before 21:00 on Saturday night on the riverbank on the paseo de Juan Carlos I, level with the Barqueta bridge. Medics tried to resuscitate the man but without success.
All the initial findings suggest that the man died as a result of drowning, although an investigation is being carried out.
