Two arrested in Sevilla for cocaine trafficking

Two people have been arrested in Sevilla in connection with drug trafficking and police have seized over three kilos of cocaine from South America.

Guardia Civil officers at Madrid-Barajas airport detected five suspicious packages sent from Uruguay and obtained a judicial order to carry out a controlled delivery to the designated post office in Sevilla.

After several days of monitoring, police arrested 46 year old F.N.M., a resident of Pino Montano, Sevilla. A few days later, police tracked and arrested R.O.B.S., a resident of Carmona, as the recipient of the drugs and ringleader of the organisation.

Police seized a total of 23 packages containing 3.3 kilos of cocaine and the two detainees were charged with crimes against the public health.
