One adult and three minors have been arrested in connection with damage caused to a dozen vehicles in Mairena del Aljarafe, Sevilla.
The incident happened at 02:00 on July 2nd, a local resident alerting the police that a group of people were vandalising cars in urbanisation Verde de Mairena in Mairena del Aljarafe.
Police located a vehicle carrying four people who they thought could have been responsible for the damage. Upon searching the interior of the vehicle they found a rear windscreen wiper. One of the damaged cars was missing a rear windscreen wiper.
An investigation was launched and owners of damaged vehicles were contacted so that they could submit denuncias.
After compiling sufficient evidence, the four people were arrested and charged with criminal damage. The detainees admitted to the crime, saying that it was the result of being under the influence of alcohol.
