An investigation by Chinese authorities has uncovered no less than 22 lookalike Apple stores in just one city, Kunming. The stores had the same decor as the real thing and the staff even had the same T-shirts as real Apple staff.
A blogger called Birdabroad discovered a lookalike store and posted details on the internet, prompting the officials in Kunming to start an investigation. Probably tracked them down using their own HiPads and HiPhones.
