The new A-473 link road to Sanlúcar la Mayor, Sevilla, opened today following a ceremony attended by the Andalucia Minister for Public Works and Housing, Josefina Cruz Villalón.
The new link road eliminates the direct access from the various urbanisations and should help alleviate the bottlenecks which usually occurred at this busy junction. Around 15,000 vehicles per day pass through the junction.
The project, which also includes a couple of service roads to the residential areas, cost an estimated €1.7 million.
