The CGT has called upon RENFE and ADIF rail workers to take part in a series of strikes over the festive season, these being scheduled to take place on December 25th, January 1st and 2nd.
The Unions are concerned about privatisation plans and one of their demands is that RENFE sign an agreement with the Generalitat de Cataluña to ensure that, at least for the next few years, RENFE retains controls of the local train services in Cataluña.
